So I’ve not written a meal planning post for a few weeks now, because frankly I haven’t had the time.
But it does keep us on track more when it comes to waste, both food and financial.
This week we’ll be having:
Quorn chilli & rice
Lasagne & garlic bread
Lamb curry & rice
Tuna Pasta Bake
Butternut Squash Risotto
Cheese & onion pie and chips
Chocolate mousse and strawberries
Blueberries and ice-cream
Cake and custard
Yorkshires with ice-cream and syrup
Jam roly poly
Once I ease myself back into regular meal planning, I want to look at reducing the cost of our shopping. Our weekly spend seems to be increasing week on week and I’m sure there are ways we can cut down.
I think it would probably be cheaper to buy some ready made meals but for the most part I like to cook fresh food each day, so I’d rather avoid processed anything if I can.
