When I can, I will buy Squidge’s clothes from independent retailers. All of the Maxomorra I buy comes via small, family run sellers, for example. More recently, Squidge has been wearing more handmade clothes from independent online stores. So far everything has been brilliant when it comes to both quality and service.
The material is really soft, and the leggings look so comfortable. They fit well over either a cloth nappy or a disposable, and the stretch in the material is just perfect. The leggings are not baggy and not at all tight around the legs. Squidge’s legs are lovely and, well, squidgy, and there is still plenty of room in them.
Why we love them
The patterns are fun, bright and printed in lovely colours. The cotton is ethically sourced and handmade here in the UK. Literally love in every stitch!
The bugs are my favourite print out of the two we have, though I can’t say I don’t love the scooters too!
The length of these leggings is perfect. They have large cuffs at the ankle which means the leggings grow with your baby. I love this idea because the amount of time Squidge actually spends in any of his beautiful clothes is far too short!
The waist of the leggings is elasticated too, meaning they are suitable for all shapes and sizes of gorgeous little people. The sizing goes up to 7-8 years. This is great for me because I’m always sad when these things are too small for us!
We love our The Princess and the Frock leggings from Florrie & Max and will certainly be buying more in new prints as they are released. You can also join facebook groups for both The Princess and the Frock and Florrie & Max where you can often find discount codes and flash sales. Who doesn’t love a bargain?!
